Before i used to smoke it i was a very social person. Now I can hardly talk when i'm stoned. Why is this?
Hi, i have been smoking cannabis pretty much every day for 4 years now. It's usually about a gram every 2 days. Now it's a gram per day to myself, smoked in cones only.
Before i used to smoke it i was a very social person. Even when i first started smoking it i was still social while i was stoned. Now on the other hand when i'm stoned it's like i don't want any contact with the world, can't talk to friends, nothing. I can hardly talk when i'm stoned. Why is this? Has anyone had the same problem? Could this be a chemical imbalance of the brain or something that's causing this? What is something good to occupy urself with instead of smoking?
I find smoking an escape from reality of life's problems, because when i'm stoned i feel free and happy. I really want to quit because it's making me very unfit, unhealthy, lazy and have a constant lack of motivation to accomplish anything. I love smoking weed, i really enjoy it, but i don't enjoy how i can't speak while high, and how lazy i have become. Can any1 answer these questions i have asked?

Sounds like the dope has gotten in the way of you socialising with your friends and is really impacting on you. Your cannabis use has doubled lately and it is very regular and you are using significant amounts of cannabis so it's common for some problems to emerge and a good time address your use.
High levels of cannabis use have been associated with the problems you have described: low motivation, not achieving your goals, withdrawing from friends and feeling unfit. It's great that you've made the decision that you really want to quit because we know that the sooner you do the sooner the effects will begin to reverse.
It would be good to talk to someone to learn some strategies to feel relaxed without dope (things like meditation, yoga can help too) and maybe just get a general health check-up.
You could consider walking/swimming, gym or trying a sport you used to enjoy, which will help getting your fitness back and also keep you occupied.
