Hello and thanks for your question. I'm not quite sure what you're asking - what are you using weed for? If you're using it to relax, or to ease stress, then your chaplain is right - for some people exercise is even better than weed for these issues.
Exercise can be good for things like depression, and it can be useful to keep your mind off things that are worrying you. Also, weed can sometimes make depression and other things worse - it feels like it's helping when you use it, but in the long term it can damage your mental health pretty badly.
